    Requirements for registration: Participants should be BAST & BGES member. Priority for 5th & 6th year residents with strong interest in abdominal surgery. Priority for residents who have not yet participated in previous cadaver course
    Price: Since cadaver courses demand a lot of effort and financial resources, a deposit of €150 will be asked upon registration, to avoid no-shows. The deposit will be refunded upon attendance.

  • BSAWS Hernia Tour 2023-2024

    The Belgian Section of Abdominal Wall Surgery (BSAWS) and the RBSS will organize a Hernia Tour during the 2023-2024 academic year.

    During this tour, 2 residents with a specific interest in hernia surgery will visit 6 participating hospitals and have the opportunity to learn different techniques in hernia repair and engage in face-to-face discussions with the hernia specialists.

    Each visit will be a one-day visit and the tour includes both Flemish and French speaking hospitals.
