VATS Cadaver Course 2024

Requirements for participation: BAST-membership 2023/2024.

The BAST VATS Cadaver Course is designed for 5th-6th years with a special interest in Thoracic Surgery.

Anatomy, techniques for 3 port and uniportal VATS lobectomies and what to do when complications arise will be discussed, after which the hands-on cadaver training will start under the supervision of our three experienced teachers (Dr. Decaluwé, Dr. Sokolow and Dr. Jansen). A highly educative course, not to be missed for those interested in pursuing Thoracic Surgery !
