The Robotic Surgery Working Group (RSWG) in cooperation with the BAST is kicking off their Robotic Surgery Training Program this academic year.
All Belgian surgical trainees are invited to participate and develop their robotic surgery skills during a multiple module training program.
In order to obtain your certificate of achievement handed out by the RSWG you will need to complete every step of the program in chronological order.
The complete training program consists of 3 modules, each of them containing a few training steps (see below).
Module 1D – Half day course containg a system overview in the OR, draping and docking of the system, principles of port placement, instrument switching, emergency docking,… Preparation for bedside assistance in Module 2A
