We are delighted to announce the second edition of our vascular surgery workshop on Aortic Repair (and AV Fistula – Femoral models). This edition will take place in partnership with BYF – Belgium Young Flowmasters at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc.

Price: Free (50€ deposit, fully reimbursed after attendance)
Requirements for participation: 4th to 6th year surgical trainnees with interest in vascular surgery, if places are still open -> younger years will be allowed as well.
Places: 6 (first come, first served).

Programme:

• 13-13u30: lunch
• 14-15u: theoretical session on tips and tricks in open aortic repair given by Prof. Astarci (chief of Cardiovascular UCL) and Dr. Ellens (Vascular Surgeon UCL, BoardMember BYF).
• 15-18u: hands-on training on aortic-flow models supplied by the firm Getinge, as well as AV fistula models.
