BAST Anatomy Cadaver Course 2027

Also this year, BAST is proud to organize the BAST Anatomy Cadaver Course for the fifth consecutive year!
This unique course gives surgical trainees the opportunity to dive deep into human anatomy and gain hands-on experience in thoracic, cardiac and abdominal surgery. Together with outstanding teachers in their respective fields, participants can further develop their anatomical knowledge and practical surgical skills in a realistic cadaveric setting.
The course will take place on 12 January, 2027, at the Vesalius Institute in Leuven, with a morning session dedicated to thoracic and cardiac surgery and an afternoon session focusing on abdominal surgery.
Participation is free of charge, with a €75 deposit required.
Priority will be given to 1st–3rd year trainees (Common trunk of their surgical training).
