However\, many residents miss out on opportunities to master advanced procedures. This course aims to fill that gap by offering hands-on training in the most common laparoscopic surgical techniques in the field of abdominal surgery. Under the guidance of experienced surgeons\, participants will gain practical experience using human cadavers. These experienced surgeons will guide trainees through the challenges and complexities of each procedure. Each participant will have the opportunity to perform at least one procedure in a human cadaver as a first surgeon. DESCRIPTION:This year\, the session will be organised as a special edition\, with the explicit aim of highlighting the educational interaction between trainer and trainee in robotic surgery. The session focuses on joint case presentations\, where both trainer and trainee present and discuss robotic surgery cases together\, emphasizing learning objectives\, decision-making\, and mentorship. \nThese abstracts will be scored by members of the BAST and RSWG Board. The abstracts describe an interesting case and will be presented by the residents. The trainer should also attend the session and can also present. This is an interactive session with multiple choice questions provided by the presenting resident and with the availability of an electronic voting system. The use of images and videos is encouraged\, high quality images are required and a maximum of 60 seconds per video is allowed. \nNew first prize! We hope to see you during the session.
